The German saxophonist residing in New York is also a celebrated composer. For this work, Laubrock drew inspiration from her early morning walks in a canyon park in Santa Barbara, California. ‘As nature awakens there, instruments and motifs gradually emerge from the dense carpets of sound in ‘Unveiled’,’ she says.
