A remarkable combination of voice, cymbals and bass drums in a new work (‘Black Hole Journeys - The Immortal II’ by Jessie Cox) and an older composition (‘Tune’ by Mario Bertoncini)

The young collective TUUM collaborated with renowned composer Jessie Cox to transform his ‘Black Hole Journeys’, originally a solo work, into a trio version specifically for Ear To The Ground. It only made the fragile sound waterfall of cymbals and bass drums more magical. In ‘Tune’ (1965), Mario Bertoncini explores the melodic richness of a series of cymbals. STAM's monastery refectory is the ideal setting to immerse yourself in this unsuspected world of sounds.
