Double Bill : De Refter + Crudo

How better to start the Christmas period than by combining 2 special moments, for a small price, in the beautiful setting of the Bijloke site in Ghent. On 20, 21 and 22 December you can see De Refter and Crudo consecutively. With De Refter, laGeste presents a new musical adventure of the laGeste choir, led by Steven Prengels, in the beautiful Abbey refectory of the old Bijloke site (part of STAM). Afterwards you walk on to the performance Crudo in the unique Anatomical Theatre of Muziekcentrum De Bijloke. Crudo is the collaboration between dancer-choreographer Lisi Estaras, art brut curator Pierre Muylle and visual artist Klaus Compagnie. Their shared interest in art brut forms the basis of this special performance that starts as a lecture but turns into a dynamic performance that searches for equality. Lisi, Pierre and Klaus mix-up dance, language and drawing in a playful and colourful new world.
